PhoenixHistory:Why should I register

From PhoenixHistory
Jump to: navigation, search

Registering is very simple and well worth the couple seconds it takes:

  • Edit Access: We've disallowed anonymous contributions so the only way to participate is to create an account. You never know when you might want to start a new page or fix a typo.
  • Watchlists: Once you've set up an account, you can watch pages to easily keep tabs on pages that are important to you.
  • Username: You can immortalize your contributions by linking them to your unique PhoenixHistory identity.
  • Uploading: Creating an account enables you to upload images for use on this site.
  • Preferences: Logged-in users can customize the PhoenixHistory site to their liking.
  • Community Statistics: If you create an account, we can know how many potential editors and contributors there are. Otherwise, we can only tell roughly how many pages are being served. If you're familiar with Wikipedia, you know that such numbers can inspire attention and press coverage.

Bottom line: it's so easy and it all starts by clicking on the "Create an account or log in" link.
